I AM GLAD IT HAS BECAUSE I AM ENJOYING ALL OF YOUR FIC SO VERY VERY MUCH, AHHH.
So this one in particular is proooooobably my favorite Troy/Abed + Community fic out there as of right now; perfect coda of that episode, and just, so much great, subtle insight into their relationship and characters. I love all the descriptions of Abed as calm and mild and analytical, even in the middle of freaking SEX, and then the subtle vulnerabilities you let peek through in places like at the end. And then Troy is just, ahh, every episode I scratch my head wondering if he's being canonically written as closeted or if that reading is just really, really, really subtextually available, but the way you presented him + his queerness here rung so true to me. And it was nice to see that be something he's been distantly struggling with, but not something that needs to cause angst or self-loathing when he's around Abed, because they are comfy BFFs and that is that.
ALSO IT WAS HILARIOUS AND WELL IN THE CANON SPIRIT. THESE WERE MY FAVORITE PARTS:
Abed tilts his head to the side. "You were a pretty good-looking robot. But I think we could assume that the Kickpuncher allows his human side to come out when engaging in such a personal interaction."
"Yeah?"
"It could be a metaphor for something."

They lay there for a few seconds in silence before Abed hands him the towel that thankfully didn't get knocked off the side table with the lube. "It's really dumb," Troy finally says hoarsely as Abed grabs a blanket from the other end of the futon, "but I've always had a thing about fucking guys dressed up like girls. Even, like, really half-assedly dressed as girls. Isn't that dumb?"
He can feel Abed shrug as he cleans up their stomachs. "I suppose it's appropriate."
"Really?"
"When I was a kid I really liked Transformers," says Abed as he throws the blanket over them. It's always a little hard to tell, but Troy thinks he might be a little embarrassed, but you can also just make out him grinning a little in the dim light. "So sometimes I'd think about having sex with a guy dressed up as a robot."
OH, ABED. *_____* Just. Such a perfect, sweet, amazing ending. :D :D :D I love this so much!tro
