Today seemed like a good day to update my journal for the first time in weeks. Can't really figure why. It just FEELS like it.
Anyway, I'm working lots lately (not going back to school until summer) and today I had to bike through a fucking SNOWSTORM to get to work and it's almost April and what the FUCK.
(Apologies, random caps are the only thing appropriate to express my anger at the fucking city who can't even plow a fucking SHOULDER for me to bike on. >:(((((((((((

sticksandsnark fic assignment, which I am very excited about because it contains Teyla being a prude and getting drunk and Rodney being grumpy and getting drunk too. AND THEN THEY HAVE SEX. No, don't tell me. I know that this is probably the most revolutionary fic idea ever.
On that note, what's your favorite kind of beer? I know next to nothing about booze and am lazy, so plz enlighten me about what you like. Do it, bitches.
ETA: There was an article in the Minneapolis paper about "beer nerds" that I haven't read yet but now totes have to for 1337 fic research purposes because I think Rodney would either be super-pretentious about the type of beer he drinks or be a complete lightweight who gets a headache after one glass and whines about it. Or booze in general would depress him because it would remind him how he used to try to get drunk to pick up chicks in college but it failed and he would sit in the bar with his feather and cry over the lyrics of a particularly touching Journey song that came on the radio.
