I have finished my Troy/Abed longfic! Well, it is mostly Troy/Abed but also some ensemble stuff and, um, it's really long? For me, I mean. It's about 16,000 words and is notable for being the first longfic I've ever written that is actually, uh, finished and also has a plot. Like, STUFF HAPPENS and this LEADS TO OTHER STUFF. It's pretty exciting.

Also I've watched the first two books of "Avatar: TLA" and I have gone from zero to OVERINVESTED!(?)!!! in a pretty impressive if not surprising length of time. My favorite parts have been:

1) That time that Sokka got that nifty hat.

2) Iroh.

3) Toph.

4) "I used to be the boomerang guy. :("

5) Everything and everyone else. (Am I supposed to be shipping Ty Lee/Mai? Because I am.)

So yeah, I can't wait until the third season is finished dl'ing! \o/

For some reason I'm happy that there's another Avatar n00b on my friendlist :DDD and LOL I went through exactly the same zero ---> OMG @ EVERYONE ALL THE TIME process.

Hard truth: Iroh is the best character in the entire series.

YESSSSSSSSSS TROY/ABED LONGFIC

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS TOPH AND IROH AND SOKKA LOVE (he and Aang are my favorite boys BY FAR *____* I can't choose favorite girls since I love them all equally though my Katara love grows and grows the more I think about her and her radicalism, mmmm)

And I spent like five minutes getting defensive over Ty Lee/Mai once upon a time because I was obsessed with Azula and all upset for her that her only friends were connecting without her, ahaha, I was all, OT3 OR TYZULA OR MAIZULA OR BUST, but seriously it's SUCH a cute pairing and really interesting because they are such polar opposites, personality-wise, but really have a lot to connect over deep down. idk I love it now. :D
