neigedens | NIGHT OF A THOUSAND PSYCH SHIPS!

Tonight's Psych! It had Urkel and Kenan (but no Kel) and I loved it! I really liked that Gus got to have ~dramatic~ lines and an angry face that was meant to be sort of sadmaking rather than just kind of lolzy like it usually is. I like Shawn, but I really think the show would better with Gus as the main character and Shawn as the sidekick. He would be a lot better at doing the serious bits that the show (inexplicably) likes to do sometimes, you know?

Also, WHOA at the Gus taking on Jules and Lassiter parts! Before tonight I pretty much only shipped Shawn/Gus or Shawn/Gus/Abigail but now the sorta hatesex possibilities are opening up before my eyes. Multishipping is the best kind of shipping, you guys.

Although it seems kind of weird to me that we're, what, four seasons in and this is the first really interesting interaction Gus has had with Jules and Lassiter. I mean, I know there was that scene in the George Takei episode with Gus geeking out with her, and I seem to recall maybe a few episodes where he trolled Lassiter or something, but on the whole there hasn't been a lot to go on, you know? Show >:(
