This whole Roman Polanski thing is driving me NUTS. No one I know IRL has been horrible about it, thankfully, but pretty much everyone in Hollywood needs to die screaming in an actual fire except for a few people, one of whom, oddly enough, is Bill Maher. Yeah, raise your hand if you saw that one coming.

Once in a blue moon, Bill Maher and I are in alignment. It's always a little weird. But good on him this time. Just about everyone else can go die in a fire, though.

Yeah, my parents and my brother used to watch his show and I couldn't do it anymore. A lot of times he was really sexist and also his jokes were kind of bad! He was like a douchier Jon Stewart. At least when Jon Stewart tells an unfunny joke I still kind of love him because he seems, you know, a decent person.

Oh my goodness I have so many TOS OTPs, I am excited to answer this. How sad is that?

Plus, I mean, Stewart isn't playing himself on his show. I don't know about Maher. I've read a couple of interviews, and he came across as dickish and hypocritical. But considering all the people I used to respect, at least as artists, flocking to defend Polanski... Yay Bill Maher. O_o

MST3K is indeed one of my fandoms! It may be the very BEST fandom!

And I love this Celia Cruz song! In my Spanish class we have to bring in a song to share and I was going to do "El No Te Queire Na," but my teacher thought it would be too hard to sing along to. He is a hater of fun. >:(

I honestly deal with it by imagining an AU where Han and Leia go around the galaxy bringing fugitive child rapists to justice, but my coping mechanisms are odd and probably a bit stupid.
