New glasses, new classes, drunken asses

So, tomorrow is, officially, the Last Day of Summer. I got a new prescription for my glasses in preparation, because squinting at the whiteboard (especially when the teacher uses those super-faint yellow markers!) is annoying. I haven't worn them for a couple months, because I usually don't need to unless I'm in school. It's weird, seeing things so clearly suddenly. Even when I take them off I still get a headache.

Also: I found a drunk guy on my couch last night at 2:30 in the morning. My parents are on vacation up near Duluth and I forgot to lock the back door when I left. The guy had apparently been at the bar down the road celebrating his 21st birthday and...doesn't remember what happened until I woke him up. (At least he didn't get sick in the house anywhere.) He actually lives about five blocks away, so I gave him a ride home. Weird, huh?
